A two-speed, all-metal jigging and trolling reel built for deep water and heavy fish — 45 kg of usable drag in a 2.80 kg body.
The DG80II is KATYUSHA's heavy-duty workhorse for slow-pitch jigging and offshore trolling. A dual-gear system lets you drop into 1.3:1 for winching power when a fish turns its head, then shift up to 2.7:1 to burn line back to the boat. The full-metal frame, 8 + 1 shielded bearings and sealed drag stack are built to survive saltwater season after season.

Why anglers pick it
Two-speed gearing — low range for the fight, high range for the retrieve.
45 kg drag — sized for amberjack, dogtooth tuna, grouper and big-game trolling.
All-metal build — machined aluminium frame with stainless internals, no flex under load.
8 + 1 bearings — smooth, quiet rotation that stays that way in salt air.
Best for
Deep-water slow-pitch and speed jigging, and offshore trolling for big game. Pairs well with PE 4–8 braid on a heavy jigging rod.
Designed and manufactured by KATYUSHA on CNC machinery. Custom colours, laser engraving and private-label packaging available — see our OEM programme.
